Disney Pixar's 'Forky Asks a Question' poses the most important question in its opening chapter 'What is a Friend?'

Forky looks adorable with his derpy eyes as he tries to find answers about friendship. He learns about the heart of friendship and also that a lot of closeness can kill!

He is so new to the world that he does not know anything about its functionality or even the way of life, for a toy. Straight out of trash, created by Bonnie, 'Toy Story 4' gave us a brand new character named Forky.

Remember how he had a hard time adapting to the fact he was a toy, Bonnie's favorite one that too? Forky the spork, never belonged in the trash since he was destined to be Bonnie's comfort toy forever.

Anyhow, towards the end of 'Toy Story 4', with Woody vouching to stay in the wilderness of civilization, it seemed like he passed on the torch and the battalion of other toys to Forky.

So, does this mean that Forky is the new Woody and that Woody has retired? After all, Woody did make a choice on his own.

Forky is back in action with his bubbling inquisitiveness about the most common things around us all. He wants to see and know everything about a whole new world. He is on a mission to find answers about everything.

In the first episode of the 10 mini-series, Forky looks adorable with his derpy eyes as he questions 'What is a Friend?' He though the ceramic mug is his friend as it had a smiley face on it.

He called the cup 'What No' since he thought that was his name. He prances around the cup and even has a tickle fight with it.

He makes very valid points about things that friends do. "Friends smile at each other a lot" and those are the truest words that have ever been spoken.

At the end, when the cup does not respond at all, Hamm bursts his bubble and tells him its a cup, an inanimate object. Just because it has eyes and a smile does not make it come alive.

It is a lot like teaching a child about the world that surrounds him. They have so many questions, yes all kinds of questions and it is neverending! That is exactly how we see Forky in this series.

But Forky always sees a silver lining behind everything. He learns who a friend really is, "someone with whom you can sit and say absolutely nothing, and still have the best time." This is for everybody who is out there and wants to hear this.

But he also learns that a lot of closeness could kill, as he goes on to hug the cup and the cup crashes on the ground and Sporky watches his friend "die", maybe?

Watch 'Forky Asks a Question' on Disney+ on November 12.
