'Floored': Release date, plot, host, trailer and all you need to know about Quibi dance reality show

What do you get when you combine 'So You Think You Can Dance' and 'Wipeout'? You get Quibi's forthcoming series, 'Floored'. 

America's first-ever mobile-only streaming service, Quibi is set to launch this April. While there is a little bit of mystery still left about the service, that will be solved come April 6, when Quibi launches with new shows. 

There is a whole lot of series Quibi has lined up that will also help keep you occupied during this time of isolation. Starting from Chrissy Teigen’s 'Chrissy’s Court', Joe Jonas's 'Cup Of Joe', 'Punk'd', 'Flipped' and many more. Amongst the list of series releasing on Quibi is 'Floored', a dance-competition reality series hosted by comedian Liza Koshy. 

Here's everything to know about the upcoming reality series, 'Floored'. 

Release date 

'Floored' will premiere only on Quibi on April 20, 2020. 

Plot 

In each episode of 'Floored', there will be two teams of dancers who battle it out on an insane dance floor. They try their best to perform an already rehearsed routine on a dance floor that has a life of its own. The dance floor lifts, tilts, drops, shakes and spins to the music. Apart from that, the dancers will also have to dodge obstacles that will be thrown their way when least expected. 

Cast 

The cast for 'Floored' has not yet been revealed. Quibi seems to be keeping it under wraps. We will update once released. 

Host

Liza Koshy is an actress, television host, comedian and YouTuber. She began her career on Vine before she could create her YouTube channel. Liza has received four Streamy Awards, four Teen Choice Awards, and one Kids' Choice Award. She also has her own comedy series on YouTube premium titled, 'Liza on Demand'. In a statement Liza opened up about hosting the show. “As someone who hosts dance parties of one in their living room, I am more than ready to host this one. I’m so excited to celebrate and scream for the fearless, the focused and the flexible as they step up to the plate… or floor.”
