HGTV’s resourceful and creative couple, Dave and Jenny Marrs, transforms houses in desperate need of an update and turns them into charming forever homes. In the new 13-episode run, the husband-wife duo — who reportedly attracted more than 17.9M viewers in the first season of ‘Fixer to Fabulous’ — continue to overhaul old homes in Northwest Arkansas, all while raising five young children and managing their family farm.

Jenny, the creative influence behind their personalized renovations, specializes in designing spaces that are warm and welcoming for families, while Dave tackles the construction with aplomb, thanks to his passion for reviving old homes. For the premiere episode, Dave and Jenny head over to Troy and Melody’s lake house which is in need of immediate attention. They have a 12-year-old daughter, Ali, and they cannot wait to start living at the lake house.

Fans of the show have been waiting for the second season as one said, "Watching season 1 of #FixerToFabulous in anticipation of season 2. Watching the Disco Castle episode & one of my favorite scenes is when @DaveMarrs tries to trick @marrs_jenny into believing he's color blind. 'This is black?' Hysterical!” Another fan wrote, “Tonight's the night. #FixerToFabulous starring @marrs_jenny and @DaveMarrs. My DVR is set, but I'll watch it live, too.”

As everyone’s favorite couple returned to the screen, viewers couldn’t help but shower them with love. “Jenny and Dave Marrs are the sweetest!!! Thoroughly enjoyed their show on @hgtv Finally a fix it show where I like BOTH of them. LOL  Keep fixing you two!” wrote one fan. “You nailed it on this new show,” wrote another.

However, the renovators also received backlash from few viewers for putting cedar shingles and siding on the exterior of the house as they are easily combustible. One of them wrote, “@hgtv #fixertofabulous Be more responsible. Putting cedar shakes on the exterior of the house created a major fire hazard. Cedar shingles and cedar siding have been prohibited in major cities for decades for a good reason. They burn fast, fast, fast! S2 Ep1.” Another viewer observed, “Don’t be like #fixertofabulous @hgtv and put cedar shakes on the exterior of your house. Cedar shingles and cedar siding are a major fire hazard and have been prohibited in major cities for decades for a good reason. Cedar shingles burn like a furnaces. S2 Ep1.”

A fan got emotional while watching the show and wrote, “I am not crying, just cutting onions! This was one of my favorites! Y’all did such an amazing job to such a deserving family! Love this!”

HGTV tweeted a video showing the final renovation of the lake house, “Now that’s what we call a lake house.”
