'Family Guy' season 18: Release date, plot, cast, trailer, and everything else about Fox's adult animated show
We cannot be more excited for the return of 'Family Guy' for its 18th season! On television screens since its debut in 1999, the show created by Seth MacFarlane follows the dysfunctional Griffin family on one misadventure after the other. Each Griffin - Peter, Lois, Meg, Chris, Stewie and Brian - has, over the years, come to be known for their eccentricities.
Returning for season 18, here is everything you need to know about the season.
Release date
The eighteenth season of 'Family Guy' will premiere on Fox September 29, 2019.
Plot
Since 'Family Guy' is essentially an adult sitcom, the plot is pretty much free-flowing. But the official synopsis provided by Fox is: "'Family Guy' continues to entertain its die-hard fan base with razor-sharp humour, spot-on parodies, spectacular animation and orchestra-backed original music."
Going by trailer though, this season of 'Family Guy' will see the Griffins meeting Beavis and Butthead. The trailer also sees the family home burn down to the ground - with Chris still in there! And while they take a cruise - to distract Peter from the firings happening at the brewery - Meg find love in a hopeless place. Only for it to be taken away way too soon. And Peter also goes through a mental scientist phase trying to make people. It looks like this season is going to be 'Family Guy' just in their element.
