Netflix's original French series 'Family Business' debuted on June 28, 2019, and was soon renewed for a second season. The show received praise from audiences and critics alike for its treatment of family dynamics in such an unnaturally unique setting.

The plot revolves around a failed entrepreneur, Joseph (Jonathan Cohen), who finds out that cannabis is about to be legalized in France and sets on a brand new idea to make the most of the situation. What follows next is a binge-worthy mix of offbeat humor, several laugh-out-loud moments and noteworthy performances by a great cast. Here's everything you need to know about the French comedy's upcoming Season 2.

Release date

'Family Business' Season 2 arrives on Netflix on September 11, 2020.

Plot

The official synopsis for Season 2 isn't out yet, but the show follows 35-year-old Joseph who works as a kosher butcher in his father's shop and can think of a million businesses he could launch. When he hears that weed is about to be legalized "for sure", he has an epiphany. His killer plan is to turn the family butcher shop into a "potcher" shop — the first marijuana coffee shop in France — with the help of his family and friends.
