The Amber Heard and Johnny Depp saga is far from its end as the actress’ exclusive interview with NBC, days after the blockbuster defamation trial in Virginia court reached its verdict, has given birth to a new storm. Heard spoke with NBC recently and once again, she reportedly went on to claim her innocence throughout the interview. She boldly claimed to the host Savannah Guthrie, “To my dying day (I) will stand by every word of my testimony.”

‘The Rum Diary’ star also made a reference to Depp’s 1990 movie – ‘Edward Scissorhands’ while slamming his legal team. The reference has now fueled new speculation online because Heard’s friend Eve Barlow had made a similar reference in her June 5 tweet. After parts of the interview went online, many fans of the 58-year-old actor went on to say that Barlow may have trained Heard for the interview while some speculated the ‘Aquaman’ actress was using Barlow's Twitter account after the trial concluded.

During the exclusive interview, Guthrie reportedly questioned Heard about a tape that was played during the trial. In the tape, the 36-year-old was heard saying: “Oh, tell the world, Johnny Depp, I, a man, am a victim of domestic violence.” But defending herself, she told the interviewer: “Twenty-second clips or the transcripts of them are not representative of even the two hours or the three hours that those clips are excerpt(ed) from.”

Later in the interview, the 50-year-old broadcast journalist mentioned a moment in the trial when Depp’s legal team accused Heard of giving the “performance of a lifetime”. She replied, “Says the lawyer for the man who convinced the world he had scissors for fingers?” pointing towards the ‘Edward Scissorhands’ film in which Depp's character had hands of scissor blades, before adding: “I had listened to weeks of testimony — insinuating that or saying quite directly that, you know, I’m a terrible actress. So I’m a bit confused how I could be both.”

Heard’s ‘Edward Scissorhands’ statement was quite similar to Barlow’s tweet, which she shared a few days after the ruling was announced. The 36-year-old Scottish journalist had written, “Protect the man with scissors for hands at all costs, especially at the cost of a woman’s right to speak to her experiences.”

Now, people have jumped online to give their two cents since Barlow’s tweet and Heard’s statement resemble each other with a user tweeting: “@realamberheard @Eve_Barlow Yes, yes that is what they came up with. Word salad. Scissors and fingers. Omg both of you think before you speak. And on TV of all places.” Another user said, “Strange .. Amber Heard used a similar same reference about ‘scissors for fingers’ in the scripted Savannah Guthrie interview. I wonder if Eve Barlow wrote the fake script for Amber? Still full of lies and bad acting. The two of them can not overcome Amber's lack of acting skills.”

“He convinced the world he had scissors  for fingers - amber heard She can't be serious? Does she know that was a movie? You know whats funny, the first person who brought that up was Eve Barlow. Now amber is using that line & for what? #JohnnyDeppGotJustice #AmberHeardIsALiar,” the third one wrote.

A person claimed, “Well, that is proof that she was using Eve Barlow's twitter account @ThatUmbrella Eve posted something eerily similar about scissors for hands.” The second one remarked, “Omg too funny. Sounds like one of @Eve_Barlow tweets btw. Convinced the world he had scissors for hands? Nah Bitch we knew it was a fantasy STORY. Did YOU believe it?”

“Amber heard ‘said the lawyer who convinced the world he had scissors for fingers’… Are you serious? We know he doesn’t actually have scissors for hands. Such a bizarre comment that first started from Eve Barlow’s tweet. #Amber,” a tweet read. “He really has scissors for hands??? My whole life has been a lie…..oh…just like #AmberHeardIsALiar #EveBarlowIsAJoke @Eve_Barlow @realamberheard,” another tweet stated.
