'Shame on you': Johnny Depp fans slam NBC for letting Amber Heard 'defame' actor once again
Amber Heard has finally spoken officially for the first time after the infamous defamation suit was settled by the jury. Johnny Depp was awarded $15 million in damages and Heard was entitled to $2 million as the jury saw both sides liable for defamation. However, Heard and her lawyers are planning to appeal the verdict. But before that happens, she took some time out to hold an exclusive NBC interview with interviewer Savannah Guthrie.
In her interview, she has made some serious claims and has explained that she will stand by her testimony until the very end. She continued to slam Depp and call him a liar. "To my dying day (I) will stand by every word of my testimony," said Heard. When asked about the time she accepted hitting Depp, she said, "As I testified on the stand about this, is that when your life is at risk, not only will you take the blame for things that you shouldn’t take the blame for. But when you’re in an abusive dynamic, psychologically, emotionally, and physically, you don’t have the resources that, say, you or I do, with the luxury of saying, ‘Hey, this is black and white."

While there are still some ardent Heard supporters who believe she spoke the truth, some people are now targeting NBC for providing a platform to Heard and her defamatory claims in the first place. People are furious that this platform is being used for defamation once again and are even suggesting that Depp should sue her again. Some people, not Depp's fans per se, suggested that Heard should hold still, accept the jury's decision, and take legal action apart from babbling in the press. The domestic violence accusations are still flowing in and Heard is speaking her heart out.
Do NOT tune in for the interview. Watch the re-uploaded video online. Tuning in makes Amber Heard look employable due to sheer interest. And NBC should not have viewers for giving an admitted violent domestic abuser a platform so she can continue her lies. #AmberHeardIsAnAbuser

One user questioned NBC's journalism ethics and said, "I am disappointed that you continue to give a platform that allows Amber Heard to continue to defame Johnny Depp without any credible evidence. Where is your journalistic integrity? Are you and NBC becoming another rag and media outlet that spreads false information for ratings?" Another user wrote, "@nbc
Please stop giving Amber Heard a platform to speak. If court was truly horrible for her and she didn’t want to relive events from the time of her marriage, why does she keep talking about it? She had her chance in court to speak her peace. Enough."
