'Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives': How foul-mouthed Maheep Kapoor outshines resident 'RHOBH' villain Lisa Rinna

Rinna can definitely turn to Kapoor when it comes to learning a trick or two to creating more drama, and being the centre of attention

Netflix's latest show 'Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives' had fans comparing it to Bravo's hit 'Real Housewives' franchise. Fans couldn't stop drawing parallels between the extravagant lifestyle and over the top behaviour displayed on both the shows. Netflix's new reality show produced by Karan Johar follows four Bollywood star wives,- Seema Khan (wife of Sohail Khan), Neelam Kothari Soni (wife of Samir Soni), Bhavana Pandey (wife of Chunky Panday), and Maheep Kapoor (wife of Sanjay Kapoor). The show gives us a peek into these ladies' lives as they juggle between their personal and professional life, just like the housewives of 'Real Housewives' franchise.

Although 'Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives' was criticized extensively for its "cringe" factor, there's no denying that Maheep stole the show. While the other wives were a lot more soft-spoken and reserved, Maheep was all over the place. From expressing her views that the tradition of throwing debutante balls need to be continued and held onto, to using a cuss word in nearly every sentence that comes out of her mouth, this jewellery designer kept the fans thoroughly entertained.

While watching Maheep's shenanigans, we couldn't help but be reminded of Lisa Rinna, the 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star. There are quite a few similarities between the two ladies. Both are extremely protective mothers, suckers for drama, and insist on being their true authentic self. While Lisa has over the years been criticized for being a hypocrite and labelled as one of the 'mean girls' of Beverly Hills, Maheep might be able to give the housewife a run for her money.

When the Kapoors were invited to Le Bal, a debutante ball party in Paris, Maheep wasted no time in talking endlessly about it. She kept on repeating how her daughter Shanaya Kapoor, was the only girl invited from India that year. While Lisa too is extremely proud of her daughter's accomplishments and keeps harping about it including making bold claims of how her daughter earns more from her modelling jobs than the housewives make on the show, it all paled when compared to Maheep's pride. When the father-daughter waltz began, Maheep began showering praises not just on Shanaya but also her husband, Sanjay. Maheep declared that no other father in that room was as proud of his daughter as Sanjay!

Lisa is notorious for name-dropping her celebrity friends' names and all her accomplishments over the years. But the housewife may have to take notes from Maheep because the Bollywood wife doesn't simply resort to name dropping, she in fact even managed to get her famous celebrity-extended family members to appear on the show. From catching up with Bollywood actor/ nephew Arjun Kapoor for getting advice on how to deal with trolls to simply inviting Jahnvi Kapoor for a lunch on Valentines Day, Maheep sure knows how to remind everyone that she knows who's who of Bollywood. So, Lisa can definitely turn to Maheep when it comes to learning a trick or two to creating more drama and being the centre of attention.

'Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives' is available for streaming on Netflix.
