The EXO anniversary on April 8, 2021, got ten folds better and bigger as the group dropped a number of surprises for the EXO-Ls. From sharing a never seen before spoiler teaser of their upcoming comeback video to releasing a heart-melting snap of EXO members saying goodbye to Chanyeol for military, EXO-Ls are now ready to bawl their eyes out.

Previously Chanyeol shared his 'last picture' before the military where he hid his military cut well with a black beanie, But with EXO members saying goodbye in their traditional group greeting, Chanyeol's bald/ military hair cut came into full view as fans couldn't gush enough about Kyungsoo's fond eyes for 'The Box' star in one of the pictures.

EXO releases unseen pictures of sending Chanyeol off to military with K-pop group on anniversary

EXO has released a series of unseen pictures from the day of Chanyeol's enlistment where SM entertainment artists Sehun, Kai, D.O, Baekhyun, and Xiumin are seen embracing the K-pop star with touching his bald cut hair. The fond look of the members and especially D.O aka Kyungsoo's heart eyes have made the fans go all 'emotional'. A fan shared, "the fact that kyungsoo sends chanyeol off with his watch for good luck and protection and how he looks at him fondly is more than enough for me to get emotional!"

Another fan quipped, "I thought Baekhyun was touching Chanyeol's head, but he was actually pressing down on Chanyeol's big ear." Another tweet read, "Girls don't want boys, they just want someone who looks at them the way Kyungsoo looks at Chanyeol." A fan wondered, "I’m still curious if they filmed the music video the night before Chanyeol’s enlistment and he had his hair shaved at the set too based on their clothes!"

EXO also dropped a major surprise bomb on the anniversary date where they uploaded a video titled 'L-1485' where the group including Chanyeol, Sehun, Kai, D.O, Baekhyun, and Xiumin share that they are filming a music video for the upcoming EXO comeback.
