LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: With Hollywood and corporate America virtually 'canceling' Kanye West - and with good reason - he has found himself an unlikely ally. Ye found unlikely support from from Udi Avshalom, ex-CEO of Kanye’s sneaker brand Yeezy. Following Kanye’s antisemitic comments, which brought him intense critical scrutiny, the support of a man who helped him build the brand is sure to prove a beacon of light for the disgraced rapper.

According to the Daily Mail, Avshalom took to his Instagram account and asked people to empathize with the rapper who is going through mental health issues and has been punished by his collaborators. Adidas, Gap, Balenciaga, and Vogue have since severed ties with the 'Donda' rapper.

In his post, Avshalom posted a picture of medals earned by his grandfather, who taught him "never to judge no one."

“These are the medals of “Men of War". The medals of my grandfather. Men of Steel. A man that taught me everything without ever saying a word. In posture and in results. He taught me to never judge no one. His concern was survival," he captioned the post.

Avshalom further said "mental health is NO joke" and Kanye "has other things he is angry about".

"Walk humbly. Do justly. Be not afraid. hip hop is a community of modern inclusion, blacks Jews and more. Nothing is perfect, I agree, but we are doing what we can, we are on our own asses as partners, fighting, trying to be better. We just got started, we will figure it out together. Dividing our communities will fail. I believe with education he will have a more positive POV, mental health is NO joke. He has other things he is angry about that’s the fact. That’s the source of his frustrations, I pray 4 him & will help if can. He has trusted me for years, I am Jewish. We made history together. I helped build his brand for him," he added in the caption.

Avshalom said he loves Kanye but "he knows he talkin nonsense, he is wrong, as he reflects he will realize. I pray for positive results. I hope he wakes up tomorrow in a better place, do what’s right and get back to building culture. He needs to repent."

"There is more good than bad in the Jewish, black bond. There is something super special I’n this culture of hip hop that we got. There is something so amazing to see blacks and Jews in businesses that the wasps dident want, it’s something so fucking fresh when we are in each other’s houses, our kids are growing up together, Jews and blacks partner cause we are fearless and forgiving ppl, we share the same values. we help each other out in ways beyond business like fam, the foundation of my life is sneakers & hip hop. Power divine RZA Jay, Emory, Puff, Ye , did business with me as partners , but brothers more so. we all started out cautious. That’s cool, but we end up in love, brothers 4 life.

"He will come around and prove his leadership, Jews and blacks learned to accept each other, we have far more love than hate for one another. Facts I love my guy and upset at the same time at all this, he knows he talkin nonsense, he is wrong, as he reflects he will realize. I pray for positive results. I hope he wakes up tomorrow in a better place , do what’s right and get back to building culture. He needs to repent. I don’t like the calls Im getting, I don’t tear down or judge. let time tell. I have faith in our community called Hip Hop,” he concluded.
