Adding another show to its pedigree of home building, renovation and decoration – HGTV is bringing a brand new offering called 'Everything But the House' and it's going to be nothing short of a game-changer. It's in a long time that a show will help you find value in things that are considered trash. 'EBTH' will feature homeowners looking to downsize on the clutter they own and helping them earn big bucks from selling all of it off is a group of appraisers.

Appraisers are people who know the monetary value of things and you'll be introduced to a lot of them on the show. This group also includes Jacquie Denny, an antique appraiser, who has been in the business for a long time but it's likely for the first time that viewers will be introduced to her pleasant personality and watch her in action on the screen.

Who is Jacquie Denny from 'Everything but the House'?

Jacquie is a pioneer in helping sell second-hand items that may not be of value to one person but can be worth gold to another. 'Good Morning America' anchor Lara Spencer will be seen hosting the show and helping families scour every storage area around their property to identify the things they don't and won't need ever again in the future. Seeing taking things ahead from there is Jacquie and her team who again will identify which items would sell off for huge bucks and auction them off. In the end, the homeowners will be handed off the cash that they needed to fund important projects and events in their lives. For instance, a couple was looking to accumulate cash that would be enough to fly members of their family to Germany for their nephew's wedding, check out the trailer below to know more.

'Everything But the House' is a multi-million dollar business

Estate sale veteran Jacquie Denny and her partner Brian Graves founded 'Everything But the House', an online platform and it was just plain genius. The business was now catering to a large number of people with varied budgets, instead of the few 100s who would come to a yard sale. A quick look at the website, and you can find every possible item right from aluminum candlesticks, animal-inspired art, designer lamps to bottle stoppers. Each item is listed for a limited amount of time with the current highest bid mentioned against the item so people can have an idea if they'd like to spend time thinking about buying it or scroll to something that could fit their budget.

The most popular items that sell like hotcakes are art, decor, and jewelry and EBTH expedited over $90M in sales in the particular category. The most expensive item that EBTH ever sold was an oil painting in 2017 for $162,000. "About what separates her trailblazing business from the rest, she said, "not everybody runs the operation top-down like we do: from the authentication part to the logistics part to the customer service end of it."

What is Jacquie Denny's net worth?

EBTH is a full concierge-style service and Jacquie and her team make it a point that they're involved with the families from the word go and help identify what can sell, what must be discarded and what must be donated. Jacquie is the Chief Development Officer at the company and Brian is Cheif Learning Officer, together they sought out another resource that would serve as the CEO of the company. They were aware of their need for "insights into the venture capital and other areas of the business that we really didn't have." Jacquie works with all their high-value clients while Brian helps design the training program for the staff they bring into the company.

Jacquie has never shied away from declaring the profits that her company has made over the years and still continues to make. However, details about her net worth are still not available to the public but the fact that EBTH employs 230 locals in Cincinnati where she is based is quite telling of the fact that she's worth a fortune. Taking things higher a notch in terms of her finances are her earnings from the HGTV show which was filmed in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut over the summer of 2020. Check out Jacquie Denny in her element as she discovers an award-winning Mitchell camera worth 3000-5000 dollars despite it's ability to work or otherwise in the new trailer below.

'Everything But the House' premieres on Friday, March 19 at 9 pm ET only on HGTV.
