Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie's 'Barbie' seems to be generating the buzz these days. The latest comes from 'The Gray Man' star's partner, Eva Mendes sharing her reaction to Gosling as Ken. The 48-year-old saw a picture of him as the iconic character and had one request: If she could keep the underwear he was wearing in the picture.

The 'Too Fast, Too Furious' star appeared on The Talk earlier this week and called the photograph of Ken funny. "It's a funny photo and he's trying to be funny," she said, "so it worked on all levels. But when I saw it, when he sent it to me from work, I was like, 'Can I please have that underwear? Please, I never ask for anything.'"

Mendes also added, "So, anyway, I do have it. I'm wearing it right now," said Mendes with a laugh. "There was something about the image that sparked my, you know, that little teenage...." The actress also shared her thoughts on Gosling's look as Ken. "People do know he's not playing a real person, right? He's playing a fake person! I feel like my man has started a real renaissance. Like a Ken-aissance. I see what's going on," she joked.

The comment also garnered some reactions on social media.  "All that I truly envy of Ryan Gosling’s is Eva Mendes," one of the fans wrote. "0s of people are lining up now to see that," one of the tweets read. Not all were impressed with the making of the movie in the first place. "One question, “Which studio green lighted this tripe?”. I really want to know so I never watch anything coming out of it again," a fan asked. This was seconded by another who wrote, "This is the best coming out of Hollywood these days? Lord, why can’t they make GOOD movies?"

Some were more keen on the underwear comment. "At first I thought this was a strange thing to say - like how would she have gotten Ryan Gosling's underwear? - but then I remembered they're married so now it makes sense," a fan wrote. And this one's crisp and to the point: "she did what we all wanted to do"
