As per the couple's bio and Time, Jeff and Shaleia met each other for the first time in 2012 through a mutual friend. At that point, she was living in Arizona, but the pair later moved to Hawaii and then, Michigan. The two tied the knot in 2016 and have a daughter named Grace.

Jeff and his wife Shaleia are relationship coaches who are currently based in Michigan. The couple sells online classes as well as workshops through Twin Flames Universe.

When did Jeff and Shaleia begin Twin Flames Universe?

When Jeff and Shaleia first crossed paths, she was residing in Arizona, and he moved there to be with her. Then, the pair began making videos that revolved around their relationship.

Ultimately, they settled down in Michigan where they thought of starting a relationship blog called Awakened Intimacy.

Later on, this blog was changed into Twin Flames Universe, which claims that it provides a helping hand to people to find true love.

Shaleia viewed their platform as a place where she could share her spiritual practices with more people. On the other hand, Jeff saw it as a business opportunity.

Is Twin Flames Universe a cult?

Vanity Fair has reported that Jeff and Shaleia offer one-on-one therapies and access to Google Hangout 'classes' where people get advice on their relationship problems by paying a fee.

Apart from this, the media outlet has reported that people can also attend services at the couples' Church of Union and order meals via a food delivery startup called Divine Dish, and resolve trauma during the Mind Alignment Process sessions.

The Twin Flames Universe promotes “divine masculine” and “divine feminine” in every couple and one partner must fill each role.

The pair allegedly began questioning the sexual orientations and gender identities of some members. The former members of Twin Flames Universe have claimed that the couple forced members to reconsider their sexuality and pressurized the people to transition.

Jeff and Shaleia have denied the allegations.
