Ellen DeGeneres is one of the most energetic and entertaining personalities ever on television. She seems to have a Midas touch and turns everything she touches into television gold. Case in point: her show on NBC, 'Ellen's Game of Games'.

After two highly successful seasons, the show is back on television for a third outing. The past 12 episodes have managed to rake in more laughter with a lot of unpredictable twists and surprises. The new season also features brand new, never-before-seen games and a load of special surprises — Ellen style.

Accompanying the entertainment powerhouse is Stephen "tWitch" Boss who serves as an announcer on the show. He also features on Ellen's award-winning daytime talk show 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' and the show would have been incomplete without his presence.

The show also includes astronomic versions of the most popular and action-packed games from 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show'. The contestants are chosen from the audiences present in the studio, spontaneously.

The chosen ones must then maneuver massive obstacles, answer questions under crushing time pressure and face gigantic plunges into the unknown — all in the quest to walk away home with big dollar bills all cash.

Every episode features DeGeneres' mischievous personality along with a boisterous roster of games, including now-familiar favorites Blindfolded Musical Chairs, Dizzy Dash and One-Eyed Monster as well as some thrilling new additions that include Mount St. Ellen, Oh Ship! and Knockin' Boots.

The incalculable, high-pressure situations that participating players find themselves in manages to keep studio audiences as well as audiences tuned in at home on the edge of their seats.

The game is played over four rounds comprised of different games. The winner of each round advances to play "Know or Go." The winner of the same gets the chance to play an epic game of "Hot Hands" where they have to guess as many answers as they can in a designated amount of time.

In the upcoming episode, we will see two women playing the 'Son of A One-Eyed Monster' and one of them will end up with a face full of purple slime.

Catch the new episode of 'Ellen's Game of Games' on April 14 at 8 pm ET/PT on NBC. Check your local listings for more information.
