Coronavirus pandemic has left people quarantined in their homes and amid this, the only sign of laughter that they seem to have is from the shows that are available to see at their disposal. While most of the talk shows have stopped filming, Ellen DeGeneres recently decided to entertain her fans from her living room.

The talk show host uploaded a video on her YouTube page and decided to give some words of encouragement to her fans. However, Ellen made sure that she had a pinch of humor involved in her conversation as well.

She took this time to applaud everyone who had been working hard to make sure that people stay healthy. She hinted that she is waiting to come back on air as she wants to make sure that her staff is employed while adding that she wants to be a sign of relief for people who are not handling the isolation well.

In between her talk, she had a couple of jokes that painted a picture of what was happening around the world. She stated that she chose her living room because all her other rooms were filled with toilet papers. When the pandemic was hitting a crisis situation, people flocked to the supermarket in a bid to get as many toilet papers as they can.

While she managed to make people laugh, at the end, she wanted an important message to be conveyed and that was to make sure that everyone stays indoors and takes care of them. Fans were quick to thank her for her words of encouragement and bringing a dose of laughter as they stay isolated.

"Ellen I missed you. Thank you for the jokes all these years. Your presence makes me forgot about this virus, at least for a while. I've been watching Jimmy's Fallon YouTube, Trevor's and others, but especially you were missing to comfort my heart. I'm glad to hear that you are doing well and with good health," read one comment.

Another added, "Thanks Ellen u truly know how to put a smile on my face on every show u do thank you may you and your family members and loved ones are safe thanks." Another echoed similar thoughts and wrote, "Ellen, you keep me sane...and if you knew me you would find that it is not an easy thing to do. Thank you!".

"Ellen, I applaud you for what you did on this vid! You made me and whoever views this smile and I know that is what your purpose is...," read another. While Ellen's show may not be on air, she sure did manage to put wide smiles on everyone's face fro her living room.
