Netflix is returning with the fourth season of 'El Marginal' and fans of the Argentine thriller drama can rejoice as the wait is almost over! 'El Marginal' was one of the crime series that the world loved with it becoming a hit, so it's no surprise that the gripping show's demand brought in another season.

The Netflix drama follows life in the San Onofre prison and all the dealings that go down in there. Throw in a former cop who's infiltrated the prison to gather information amid a place full of dangerous convicts and it's the perfect recipe for an intriguing show. As the seasons progressed new plots and tasks along with more gruesome prisoners even won the crime series the Golden Martín Fierro and Tato awards and a Spanish Platino Award for best television series. What is the fourth Season of 'El Marginal' about

According to the official Netflix synopsis: After the fire at San Onofre, the fates of Pastor, Mario Borges, and Diosito cross paths again in the Puente Viejo prison. The reunion between Pastor and Diosito will re-awaken strong sentiments in both of them. César, who was transferred there, joins this confrontation and leads the group that represents the Sub21. From the outside, Sergio Antín will run things in order to seize the power of the prison, confronting the current director. And Emma Molinari will work to aid Pastor in a new and dangerous attempt to escape.

Who stars in the Netflix thriller series

Juan Minujín as Miguel Palacios

Juan Gervasio Minujín is an Argentine actor and the 46-year-old is also a film director. He has roots in theatre and worked there in 1996 while he trained as an actor. Minujin has trained with fellow actors Cristina Banegas, Julio Chávez, Alberto Ure, Pompeyo Audivert and Guillermo Angelelli and moved to London between 1997nand 1998 where he finished his training. His work includes 'Fuego gris', 'Lamb of God', '2+2', 'Focus', 'Los que aman, odian', 'The Two Popes', and more. He essays the role of Miguel Palacios a former cop who has infiltrated the San Onofre prison in 'El Marginal' and is one of the protagonists.



 


The rest of the cast includes Gerardo Romano as Director Sergio Antín, Martina Gusmán as Lic Emma Molinari, Claudio Rissi as Mario Borges, Nicolás Furtado as Juan Pablo 'Diosito' Borges amongst others.
