'DWTS' Season 32: Who gets eliminated in semi-finals? ABC show shocks fans with 'wild twist'

'DWTS' Season 32 finale will air on December 5 and will be different from other seasons due to the shocking twist in the semi-finals

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Dancing With The Stars' Season 32 semi-finals had a cut-throat competition as all five contestants gave their best in the hope of advancing to the finals. The top five semi-finalists proved that they all deserved to advance to the finals, according to the judges, and so, no one was eliminated.

Contestants Jason Mraz and Daniella Karagach, Ariana Madix and Pasha Pashkov, Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy, Alyson Hannigan and Sasha Farber, and Charity Lawson and Artem Chigvintsev will be vying for the trophy in 'DWTS' Season 32 finale.

As there wasn't any elimination during 'DWTS' Season 32 semi-finals, instead of the top four, the top five performers will compete in the finale. This marked the first time that there will be more than four couples moving on to the 'DWTS' finale.

However, the contestants' scores from this week will also be added to the final scores. The latest twist stunned viewers as no one was expecting all five contestants to advance to the finals and were anxiously waiting to see who would be eliminated.

An excited X user wrote, "OMFG WAIT WHAT?? NO ONE WENT HOME TONIGHT??! LETS GOOOO." Another person added, "HOLY HELL THAT’S A WILD TWIST."

Another social media user tweeted, "OMG HOLY CRAP I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING 5 COUPLES COMPETING IN THE FINALE???"

A fourth viewer exclaimed, "OMG A 5 PERSON FINALE?!!!!!!" Another internet user penned, "Plot twist: Everyone is safe and going to the finale! They really got me there omg."

However, not everyone was happy about this twist and one criticized the show, speculating, "Let me guess, @officialdwts, you didn’t like who was getting eliminated so you decided to keep all 5 couples. Geez, way to change the rules at the last minute. So much for viewers votes meaning anything."

Another person shared a clip of the elimination scene, writing, "Week 10: DWTS Semi-Finals Elimination And the couple going home is… This is a SHOCKING moment!"

Alyson Hannigan lands the bottom spot of the leaderboard

Alyson Hannigan and Sasha Farber danced a Jive to 'Footloose' by Kenny Loggins for their first performance and a slow waltz to 'Come Away With Me' by Norah Jones for their second performance during 'DWTS' Season 32 semi-finals.

Alyson addressed how her scores dipped last week and she expected to go home. She explained that being the underdog, she was proud she managed to remain in the competition.

However, Alyson received a total of 51 out of 60 for her performances, which landed her at the bottom of the leaderboard. Notably, viewers were expecting Alyson and Sasha to be sent home.

A social media user wrote, "Look, I love Alyson but 4 people in the finale was already gonna feel crowded. Now you're having 5 in the finale, plus special dances from the couples of the season as always, other performances, etc."

The same person then asked, "How long is this finale gonna be 4 hours?"

Another person added, "Am I the only one pissed about no one going home??? Only on pissed Alyson is safe despite stomping her way through the jive AND GETTING A 9??? Goodman is def rolling in his grave this season."

Another critic wrote, "You know what this feels like? It feels like when Caduceus made that clutch Divine Intervention roll at the end of Cognouza. I was fully expecting Molly to stay away, and I was fully prepared to not see Alyson in the finale. Wth."

Another viewer penned, "Alyson being in the finale was not on my bingo card but love that for her."

Another internet user tweeted, 'I like Alyson as a person but I don’t feel as tho she needs to be in the finals. So when they said she was safe first I was like “WHAT?!” They said that order on purpose."

When is the 'DWTS' Season 32 finale?

'Dancing With The Stars' Season 32 will premiere on Tuesday, December 5 at 8 pm ET on ABC. The finale will be very exciting as all five finalists head back to the rehearsal room.

During 'DWTS' Season 32 Semi-Finals episode, host Alfonso Ribeiro announced that Season 31 champions Mark Ballas and Charli D'Amelio will return next week to perform.

The ABC show viewers expect a series of exciting performances and heartbreaking eliminations with one winning pair taking home Season 32's Mirror Ball trophy.
