'DWTS' Season 32 judge Derek Hough messed up with the scorecard after Carrie Ann Inaba took over his time to critique a performance

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Dancing With The Stars' Season 32 judge Derek Hough recently messed up while giving scores to contestants after Carrie Ann Inaba interrupted him while he was giving feedback.

During the latest episode of 'DWTS', Lele Pons and Brandon Armstrong performed rumba on 'Can You Feel the Love Tonight' from 'The Lion King'. Bruno complimented the performers, "You corrected everything I told you!"

He dubbed the performance "sensual and sophisticated" and Carrie Ann agreed with Bruno. Moreover, she further noted, "I love that you are taking the corrections."

Carrie then started complaining about Lele and Brandon's lift, which ultimately took all of Derek's time. He simply commented "well done" on the performance.

Derek seemed quite annoyed and messed up with the scoreboard. He was holding a scoreboard with the number 6 but said 7. However, he later corrected it and gave Lele and Brandon a 7.

Derek was not the only one who seemed annoyed as viewers also shared their frustration about Carrie interrupting Derek on social media. An X user tweeted, "Derek looked so ANNOYED at Carrie Ann. Let him speak girl!"

Another person suggested, "Okay so mute Carrie Ann's mic for this next critique and give Derek all her minutes." Another user added, "Oh I know Derek is gonna throw hands to Carrie Ann during the commercial break."

Another viewer noted, "WTF Carrie Ann?! Shut up and let Derek talk! Then Derek holds up the wrong score... talk about a cluster F segment yeash..."

Another critic said, "I know this is a competition show with critiques but Carrie Ann needs to stop interrupting Derek."

Another social media user penned, "Carrie Ann screwing up derek’s critiques and even resulting in him holding up the wrong number, a mess."

Derek Hough and Carrie Ann Inaba's feedback receives backlash

Derek Hough and Carrie Ann Inaba have been sharing strong feedback this season and the viewers are not liking it. In the previous episodes, the audience watching live loudly booed whenever the judges dropped some particularly negative feedback.

Derek and Carrie were the judges who received the most heat. On the other hand, many of the celeb contestants have spoken about taking the comments from the judges to heart and using them to improve every week.

Alyson Hannigan credited judges' notes for helping her approach during Latin Week. She gave a shout-out to 'DWTS' judges for calling her a "drama queen."

Derek Hough reunites with Amy Purdy after four years

Derek Hough recently reunited with his 'DWTS' partner Amy Purdy during his Symphony of Dance tour. The 'DWTS' partners were the Mirrorball trophy runners-up during Season 18 in 2014.

The reunion came in the wake of Amy's ongoing health journey. She shared a video on her social media and said, "After injuring my leg 4 years ago and enduring 10+ surgeries, I had no idea if I would ever walk comfortable again, let alone dance again."

She added, "And tonight not only did I walk into the theater but I danced again with my friend & DWTS partner @derekhough." In February 2019, doctors discovered a blood clot from the hip down through the arteries of Amy's left leg.

The discovery led to more than 10 surgeries over the course of the next four years. Now, she appeared to be recovering as she danced with Derek.
