DUXBURY, MASSACHUSETTS: Aerosmith’s lead singer Steven Tyler recently went to meet local first responders at a Plymouth dispatch center in the wake of an unfortunate incident that saw the lives of three children taken away allegedly by their own mother. Tyler went to the center after it was reported that the first responders were left horrified after responding to the accused’s home on Tuesday evening, January 24. While the older two siblings died the same day in the hospital, the infant breathed his last on Friday, January 27. The 32-year-old woman has been pressed with two counts of murder, three counts of strangulation or suffocation, and three counts of assault and battery with a deadly weapon charges.
After Callan’s death, the Plymouth District Attorney's Office issued a statement that read, “(Friday), at approximately 12:30 p.m., the state Office of the Chief Medical Examiner contacted Massachusetts State Police assigned to our office to report that at 11:18 a.m. (Friday), the third Clancy child was pronounced deceased at Children’s Hospital in Boston.”
A joint statement was also released by Duxbury Fire Chief Robert Reardon and Deputy Chief Brian Monahan that said, “Tragedies like these are always difficult to comprehend and process. We are all left struggling with many emotions. Please know that all public safety personnel have been offered, and will continue to be offered, needed support.” Besides, Rich MacKinnon, president of the Professional Firefighters of Massachusetts, told Fox Business, “A lot of members responding probably had kids the same age as the ones they were working on.”
Meanwhile, the husband of the alleged killer mother has urged people to forgive her. It is believed that Clancy was suffering from postpartum depression, which led to the tragedy. In a GoFundMe message, Patrick shared, “She’s recently been portrayed largely by people who have never met her and never knew who the real Lindsay was. Our marriage was wonderful and diametrically grew stronger as her condition rapidly worsened. I took as much pride in being her husband as I did in being a father and felt persistently lucky to have her in my life.”
The man continued, “She loved being a nurse, but nothing matched her intense love for our kids and dedication to being a mother. It was all she ever wanted. Her passion taught me how to be a better father,” before adding, “I want to ask all of you that you find it deep within yourselves to forgive Lindsay, as I have. The real Lindsay was generously loving and caring towards everyone - me, our kids, family, friends, and her patients. The very fibers of her soul are loving. All I wish for her now is that she can somehow find peace.”
