'Dr Pimple Popper': Twins Tracie and Stacie take Dr Lee's help to treat multiple cysts on their head
Dr. Sandra Lee is known as a savior to many as she helps treat their problems. Even lockdown has not stopped her as she has been seeing her patients virtually. In the latest episode on October 22, Dr Lee met twins Tracie and Stacie who have been suffering from a similar problem.
The twins have multiple cysts on their head that has been making their life miserable. Tracie revealed she has four cysts and one of them is a big one that can be seen behind her ears. Most of the time Tracie tries to hide it using her hair, but it has not always helped.
Meanwhile, Stacie has around six cysts on her head and there are times when they ooze out. Tracie revealed she has had the cysts for 20 years and three of them are soft while one is hard. On the other hand, Stacie revealed that one of the cysts once popped while she was working and it started bleeding.
She managed to go to the bathroom and squeeze it all out. She found the entire sack of the cyst pop up and she took it to her doctor to show. Tracie revealed that she had been to a doctor who advised her to shave half of her head if she wanted to remove the cysts. Since Tracie did not want to do anything to her hair, she decided to not go forward with the procedure.
Dr Lee hinted that one of the reasons for the twins to have identical cysts could be because someone in the family has a similar genetic problem. She explained that what they have might be pillar cysts that are usually found on the head. Dr Lee further added that they look sort of like olives and are very easy to pop out.
Tracie volunteered to go first as she was happy to do it along with her sister. Dr Lee explained they will be shaving some part of her hair where the big cyst is to make sure they get it all out and are able to stitch the place back up. She assured Tracie that her hairline would not be affected. The twins admitted they were looking forward to the treatment as they wanted to lead a normal life.
