'Dr Pimple Popper': Dennis struggles to be confident due to 4 lumps on his head, can Dr Lee change his life?
The coronavirus pandemic has pushed many businesses to a standstill, but one job that keeps on going is that of doctors. Dr Sandra Lee aka pimple popper turned her home into a place where she can virtually meet her patients. Even though she can't treat them immediately, Dr Lee wanted to understand her patients better before she met them.
In the latest episode (October 8), Dennis came to the show to find a treatment for the four lumps on his head that have been there for a long time. In a video that he sent Dr Lee, Dennis revealed there was one lump that had been on his head for over 30 years while the other three came into existence later.
However, they are not noticed unless he turns around. Dennis admitted he had been to many doctors but they had not given him the answer he had been looking for. One of the doctors stated it was not cancerous as it could move around. Despite this, Dennis does not feel good about the way he looks and admitted it has affected his confidence.
The biggest embarrassment that he felt was when one of his friends took a video of his head from behind and seeing that did not make him feel good. Dennis's wife Donna was also present with him. She revealed he does not let her touch his head. While she is happy it is not cancerous, Donna is worried and wants to find out what is it.
Since it has been growing in size, Donna worried it might affect his health. After seeing the lumps, Dr Lee was quick to add that he might have pilar cysts. Since he could move them, she admitted it would be easier to have them removed. However, the one she was concerned about was the big one at the bottom of his head.
Dr Lee revealed pilar cysts are usually the size of a marble or golf ball. Seeing how big this was, she was concerned if it could be anything else. Dennis was quick to add that he is scared of doctors and does not like injections. Dr Lee was happy he informed her before and admitted they will look into what can be done in his case after the lockdown lifts.
