Maria Elizondo and Vinny Guadagnino have been unable to speak to each other ever since the season started but this episode sees things changing. Maria had appeared in the previous season of 'Double Shot At Love' and was close to getting together with Vinny. However, towards the end, Vinny picked  Alysse Joyner as his partner. While the pair thought they would be able to work things out. The long-distance relationship did not help the couple in any way. They ended up breaking up and during the reunion, Alysse started crying and Maria decided to step up for her. Since then, Maria used social media to bash Vinny.

In the latest episode (July 2), Vinny finally decided to break the awkwardness between them and asked Maria what was going on. He asked Maria why she didn't speak to him and Maria hinted that she was waiting for Vinny to break the ice. However, he was not impressed with the answer. Vinny used this moment to confront Maria and told her that she sometimes turned into a 'f***ing troll'. Speaking to the camera, Vinny revealed Maria and him had been having a nice time until he chose Alysse. He recalled how she said some things about him on social media that he did not appreciate.

He further recalled how she turned all the girls against him and made them into his enemies. While there were talking, Vinny also made it clear that things ended with Alysee due to personal differences and it had nothing to do with her. Maria understood that she was wrong and decided to apologize to him.

Vinny was surprised to hear this as he thought it would be hard to talk to her. Despite this, he was happy to see how things ended. Vinny broke this news to Pauly D and revealed he had finally spoken to Maria, however, Vinny hinted that he wasn't sure how sincere Maria's apology was.

But since the pair managed to have a good time, everyone seemed convinced that they would end up hooking up in the house. Maria thought it won't happen but looking at how the pair have been getting comfortable with each other, anything is possible in Las Vegas.

'Double Shot At Love' airs on Thursdays at 8 pm ET on MTV.
