Nikki Hall and Pauly D gave viewers something to look forward to when the pair took the next step in their relationship and spent the night together. In the latest episode (September 24), the pair came to a decision on how to take things forward between them. With it being the last day in Vegas, the cast was set to head back home.

However, before that, Pauly and Nikki had to talk about their relationship. Pauly admitted that things had been going well for them and they were finally on the same page. However, he hinted the future for them was unknown as he did not know what to do moving forward. Meanwhile, Nikki was also confused about what fate has in store for them.

Nikki had been taking things slow ever since Pauly hinted he did not want to jump into a relationship. After being careful about what she says and does, Nikki was finally happy about how things had shaped up for them. However, she too had questions about what things meant after they ended up spending the night together.

Right from long distance to not taking things too fast, she wondered if the next step would be making their relationship official. The two sat down to discuss what was the next step for them. Nikki and Pauly made it clear they did not want to give their relationship a name, but wanted to see how things go.

The two came to the conclusion that without giving it a name, they would see if they could make things official. Until then, they were ready to see how everything worked out for them. Speaking to the camera, Nikki admitted she expected this ending when she appeared on Season 1. However, things did not go the way she had planned.

Pauly decided to ride solo. He feared that things would end up getting bad if history repeated itself. However, seeing the connection he and Nikki developed, he decided it was worth taking the shot. The two ended their night with a hug and kiss. Nikki admitted she was emotional about leaving, but felt pleased to see how things ended on a good note for them.

'Double Shot At Love' airs on Thursdays at 8 pm ET on MTV.
