Pauly D left everyone in the house shocked when he told Nikki Hall that he loved her. The cast members wondered if it was real or if he was drunk because they could not put the pieces together when it came to their relationship. Pauly had been vocal about not wanting to be in a serious relationship. However, seeing him saying 'love you' to Nikki had everyone wondering where they stood in the relationship.

However, the only person who decided to speak on the incident was Derynn Paige. Derynn was curious to find out if Pauly meant what he had told Nikki as she did not want her to get hurt again. Knowing how vulnerable and emotional Nikki is, Derynn thought things would not end in a good way if Pauly breaks her heart again as he did in the previous season of the show.

While Derynn went around asking questions to other cast members, Brandon Stakemann made it clear that he was not happy with how she was behaving. Brandon thought Derynn was trying to interfere in a matter that did not concern her. Things became more complicated when Derynn decided to confront Pauly about his relationship with Nikki.

She asked him to be careful when it comes to Nikki and her feelings. Unfortunately, Pauly was not a fan of how Derynn was questioning him. He thought she was interfering in a matter that she was not supposed to. Without hesitation, Pauly made it clear that he did not appreciate Derynn going around asking people about his and Nikki's relationship.

Their conversation had Derynn convinced that she could not ask Pauly or anyone else about his and Nikki's connection. Nikki too thought that Derynn had no right to go and talk to Pauly. She feared that Derynn would put things in Pauly's mind that were untrue. Meanwhile, fans also expressed their anger towards how Derynn was behaving.

"I feel like a lot of y’all expected @NikkiHallTM to be upset about the situation. but she handled that so well. her and Pauly. we love to see it. Derynn, go play with Ricky or something and mind YOUR business," read one comment. Another wrote, "Derynn when are you going to stop constantly mentioning @NikkiHallTM's name like are you that obsessed with her still!!!"

"@Derynn_Paige get a life first before you come for @NikkiHallTM and @DJPaulyD. Because whatever they got going on ain’t got s**t to do with you," said another. "Derynn really almost set their relationship back by putting her nose in the business. Sometimes, you gotta let things flow until it affects you," read another comment.

'Double Shot At Love' airs on Thursdays at 8 pm ET on MTV.
