Once again, country music icon Dolly Parton left no stone unturned in making Christmas memorable for her fans. NBC re-aired her holiday special 'Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love' and the beloved film seems to have gotten viewers emotional by instilling a strong sense of nostalgia.

'Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love' is a sequel to her previous film 'Coat of Many Colors'. The film centers around a young Dolly, who along with her siblings is seen helping her father buy a wedding ring for their mother until an unexpected Christmas blizzard thwarts the plan.

The film, apart from offering a light-hearted entertainment during the holidays, has also inspired many with its heart-warming story about family sticking together even through the toughest of times.

On watching the movie, Parton’s fans expressed through tweets that the real portrayal of life events has highly inspired them, making them want to hold on to the family values.

One fan noted, "Dolly's Christmas movie that just re-aired on @nbc just warms my heart. The message of cherishing family & sticking together, counting your blessings, chasing your dreams. All of it just made my heart smile."

"Just watched your Christmas movie again Christmas of Many Colors. Thank you again for such a beautiful and inspiring movie. Also thanks for all the good work and charity you share with us all," another fan added.

Some of them praised the musician for simply being who she has always been. A fan wrote, "I met her when I was a child and she was the nicest person. I was shy and she brought me on stage and put me on her lap. She's as sweet in real life as she is on camera."

And a few tweeted their favorite lines from Parton's movie to thank and honor her. "A peacock that rests on his feathers is just another turkey" and "The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain" were some of the highlights fans shared from the movie.
