'Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol' Episode 3: Rara has a stalker who might try to hurt her, will Jun be around to help?
'Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol' Episode 3 sees Rara (Go Ara) and Jun (Lee Jae-wook) get caught in a compromising position despite the situation being as innocent as possible. Jin Ha-young and Dr. Cha Eun-seok (Kim Joo-hun) end up finding the two and after a confusing string of words are uttered by all of them, it is decided that Rara will for the time being stay with Ha-young and her mother Sook-kyeong (Ye Ji-won) who owns the beauty salon in the neighborhood. Initially, things don't go too well because Sook-kyeong finds out that Rara is not a rich person who would add value to her clientele.
Instead, she even insults Rara who leaves the house without a word to even Jun and with her phone switched off, both the doctor and Jun are worried but Jun does find her. She requests him to vouch for her so that she can continue to stay with Ha-young in her house and in the process, all of them go on to Rara's Instagram and find out how she had lived the high life all this while. This gives Ha-young a sense of understanding of how Rara must have lived before her father died and their company went bust. What Rara hasn't realized but the neighborhood ladies have realized that her life sounds exactly like a drama that they are all watching in which the person who betrays the company ends up being the secretary. In her case, this turns out to be Secretary Moon (Ahn Nae-Sang).
She believes him despite everyone's warning, but clearly, he has betrayed Rara because we see him enjoying the money that he had got from everything that went down in a cruise boat. How did he manage to bring about the downfall of Rara Cosmetics is something that we will see in the following episodes. For now, the show concentrates on settling Rara into her new life. The injury on her hand will take time to heal, so she begins therapy by playing the piano little by little. Her new friends find a spot where there is a piano lying around in the neighborhood and that is where she heads out to practice every day and night. She also lands a job as a piano teacher where she is told that she can return as soon as her hands are good enough to play and this excites Rara more than anything.
Jun, on the other hand, decides to make Rara's wish come true. After hearing her say that it would have been great if he had had two rooms in his house so that the two of them could stay together, he begins to design her house, and over the call towards the end of the episode, he also tells her that he has a surprise for her. This can only mean that the room is ready. She can very soon begin living with Jun and Mimi, the dog she considers her younger sibling. Until then, she will continue to practice playing the piano as she did before. What is worrying is the last shot of the episode where we saw a strange man pinning all of Rara's Instagram pictures on a board, totally stalker-like. Right before this, we also saw someone approach Jun from behind and when he sees the face, he is shocked. Is it his mother's men? Or could it be the stalker?
'Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol' will air on KBS2 on Wednesdays and Thursdays in Seoul, South Korea, and can be streamed on Netflix in the US.
