'Trying to make us like Marlo': Fans claim 'RHOA' producers 'should be fired ASAP' for showing flashback of reality star's nephew's death

Fans slammed 'RHOA' producers for showing 'crap' from 2020 and taking beef with Kandi Burruss while portraying Marlo Hampton in good light

GEORGIA, ATLANTA: Sunday's episode of 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' addressed some underlying tension between two former friends -- Marlo Hampton and Kandi Burruss. The producers showed a flashback of Kandi and Marlo's friendship in the recently released episode. The sudden death of Marlo's nephew Quentin and the death of Kandi's cousin and employee were also featured.

'RHOA' fans wonder why did Bravo choose to bring up Marlo's 2020 storyline. Did the producers purposely bring up the flashback to once again create drama? Many claimed that the editors were trying to show Marlo in good light. Is this going to be good for Kandi?

Bravo shows how Marlo and Kandi's friendship ended

The latest episode reminded the viewers of a time when Marlo and Kandi were friends. Back when Marlo's nephew Quentin died, the former friends got closer to each other. Kandi was also seen defending Marlo by saying, "People always want to define Marlo by her mugshot, but she's really kind-hearted, very thoughtful, she's a really sweet person."

Well, things started to fall apart between the two friends from the beginning of Season 15. The entire flashback plot seems to have cast Marlo in good light but did not put much focus on Kandi.

'Them RHOA producers read Kandi for filth!'

As soon as 'RHOA' fans saw the flashback, they started slamming the producers and the editors of the show for taking Marlo's side. A fan tweeted, "Them #RHOA producers read Kandi for filth! She can't even blame for Marlo for that! They read her with her OWN words and actions!"

Another called out the producers and wrote, "Whichever producer assigned to Marlo’s storyline & features agreed to film this crap knowingly the date were from 2020 and now you got beef with Kandi 2023 should be fired asap! Ain’t no way!" "The editors showed Marlo in a good light," tweeted another fan. 

One viewer said, "Rhoa these producers really trying to make us like Marlow." Another tweeted, "Oh the producers are being super shady this season exposing allllllllll the lies and hypocrisy yikes #RHOA."

'Marlo trying to come for Kandi's title'

Is Marlo trying to clean-sweep her character and blame Kandi for all the wrongdoings? Is she trying to steal away Kandi's limelight? A fan wondered, "Sounds to me like Marlo trying to come for Kandi's title/thrown cause she's the queen of RHOA. That's exactly how the devil moves. @Kandi don't even let her see you sweat. Your character speaks for itself & God will always fight your battles."

Another wrote, "Marlo is an emotional fraud. "My nephew is dead" Marlo, girl, you didnt care for 3 yrs now Kandi needs too girl bye." A fan tweeted, "The girls: Marlo needs to stop bringing up stuff from 2 years ago, move on! Also the girls: Lets talk about Marlo slashing that person's face from 23 years ago. Which one is it...?"

"Marlo is the kind of person that will trigger you till you’ve lost everything you’ve worked for then laugh at your demise," claimed another.
