Who stars in the Apple TV+ coming-of-age comedy series?

The comedy series is led by the fantastic Hailee Steinfeld, who plays the role of Emily Dickinson. Let’s get to know more about her.

Hailee Steinfeld

The American actress has been one of the brightest talents in recent years and has done some really stupendous work. She began her acting career at the age of 10 and appeared in several short movies. Her first major role came at the age of 13 when she was chosen to play the role of Mattie Ross in the movie ‘True Grit’, alongside Jeff Bridges. The actress was nominated for an Oscar in the Best Supporting Actress category. Since then, she has appeared on various high-end ventures such as ‘Begin Again’, ‘Ender’s Game’, ‘The Edge of Seventeen’, ‘Bumblebee’, and ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’.



 

The rest of the ‘Dickinson’ cast includes Toby Huss as Edward Dickinson, Adrian Blake Enscoe as Austin Dickinson, Anna Baryshnikov as Lavinia “Vinnie” Dickinson, Ella Hunt as Sue Gilbert, Amanda Warren as Betty, and Wiz Khalifa as Death. Meanwhile, Billy Eichner and Sylvia Plath will be seen in Season 3 in guest roles.

Showrunners

The comedy series is created and written by Alena Smith, who is known for writing ‘The Newsroom’ and ‘The Affair’. Apart from Smith and Steinfeld, notable personalities such as Michael Sugar, David Gordon Green, Ashley Zalta, Darlene Hunt, Paul Lee, and Alex Goldstone serve as executive producers on the show.
