75th DGA Awards winners list: Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert win top honor for 'Everything Everywhere All At Once'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The Guild, a strong foreteller for Academy Awards' success historically, announced its nominations on January 10, 2023, and now is the time to hold on to your seat and get to know the winner of the 75th annual Directors Guild of America Awards. The prestigious award function was hosted at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. The event was hosted by director Judd Apatow. All the winners were announced and among them were the directors of 'Aftersun', 'Everything Everywhere All at Once', 'Station Eleven' and 'Best Foot Forward'.
With less than a month left for the Oscars, every award counts and every award predicts the Academy Award winner. The ceremony not only honored outstanding achievements in films but also gave out awards for television directing. The former category is often seen predicting the Best Director winner at the Oscars.

To kickstart the prestigious ceremony, Lesli Linka Glatter, the DGA’s president opened the ceremony with kind remarks before introducing host Judd Apatow, who is known to have previously hosted the award ceremony three times. Although we thought Steven Spielberg's 'The Fabelmans' would take the top prize this year, the directors of 'Everything Everywhere All at Once', beat out Spielberg for the top prize. Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert took home the award for "Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Theatrical Feature Film" for 'Everything Everywhere All at Once', with Aubrey Plaza taking the stage to present it.
