Get ready to see Grey's Anatomy's McDreamy in a brand new avatar. In the upcoming The CW series 'Devils', Patrick Dempsey is playing the role of ruthless banker Dominic Morgan.

Described as an international thriller, the series follows the unsuspecting Massimo Ruggero (played by Alessandro Borghi), the charismatic yet ruthless Head of Trading at NYL, one of the world's most important investment banks, and his mentor NYL's CEO Dominic Morgan.

Based on the novel 'I Diavoli' by Guido Maria Brera, the story that is set in London 2011 is about ambition and betrayal all in the face of a larger international problem. Massimo makes NYL bank millions by speculating on the Greek crisis in the hope of getting the Vice-CEO position. Morgan, however, has other plans. The father-figure to Massimo denies him the promotion apparently because of a scandal from Massimo's past.

But here's when things begin to get interesting. After the sudden death of a colleague, things shake up. Following the bitter promotion battle, Massimo finds himself named the prime suspect in the murder investigation of the colleague.

He must now fight to clear his name, and in doing so, Massimo becomes involved in an intercontinental financial war and is left with only two options: supporting Dominic or going up against him. What will Massimo choose? How will the financial thriller play itself out?

Produced by Sky Italia and Lux Vide, in association with Sky Studios, Orange Studio and OCS' 'Devils' aired on Sky Atlantic in Italy in April 2020 and has already been renewed for a second season.

'Devils' is set to air on October 7, 2020, Wednesday, at 8 pm ET on The CW followed by the acquired series 'Coroner'. Episodes of 'Devils' will be available to stream on The CW App and CWTV.com the day after broadcast for free and without a subscription.
