With the introduction of Greece's financial crisis, the humanitarian crisis in Libya, and the ongoing personal crisis of the protagonists, The CW's 'Devils' seems to have picked up the pace in the previous episode. Amid all of this is unending ambitions and heartbreak.

Following the events of the previous episode, 'Devils' returns for its fourth episode this week. In the previous episode, Massimo Ruggero (Alessandro Borghi) begins looking into his wife Carrie Price's (Sallie Harmsen) death. He is sure that her death was not just an overdose but really a trap that would get Massimo involved deeper into this crisis. At the same time, a threat begins to loom further on his head as the police begin suspecting him for the suicide of Edward Stuart (Ben Miles).

Ed had jumped off one of the high floors of the NYL building to his death, right in front of his wife Claire Stuart (Jemma Powell). While many deemed it a suicide, on 'Devils', things are not always as they seem. Of course, Dominic had more to do with this than anything else. But the police are hardly suspicious of him; they, in fact, are going in for the lowest hanging fruit in Massimo, Ed's sole competitor. So now, along with everything else going on around him, Massimo is being questioned for murder.

According to the official synopsis of the upcoming episode, "Massimo's traders disobey his orders and speculate on the Irish crisis, falling into a trap set up by Dominic Morgan (Patrick Dempsey), who intervenes to save the Irish bank. Massimo is about to discover why Dominic denied him the promotion, but when he is interrogated by Vicky (guest star Lorna Brown), who has found a secret dossier, the whole investigation is suddenly shut down, by an order from on high."

In the upcoming episode, we also expect him to find out more about Carrie and the events surrounding her death. These revelations aren't going to be easy for him as Dominic will be involved one way or the other. The real question is, what will Massimo's next step be?

The episode stars Laia Costa, Kasia Smutniak, Lars Mikkelsen, Malachi Kirby, Paul Chowdhry, Pia Mechler, Harry Michell, and Sallie Harmsen. Nick Hurran directs Episode 4 and the story is written by Alessandro Sermoneta, Mario Ruggeri, Elena Bucaccio, Guido Maria Brera, Tommaso DeLorenzis, Christopher Lunt, and Michael A Walker. The screenplay is written by Sermoneta, Ruggeri, Lunt, and Walker.

'Devils' airs Wednesdays at 8 pm ET/PT on The CW.
