Spoilers for 'Devils' Episode 1

'Devils' follows Massimo Ruggero (Alessandro Borghi), who is the Head of Trading at the huge American New York-London Bank (NYL) and Dominic Morgan (Patrick Dempsey), his boss who he considers as a father figure. In the very fast-paced world of high finance, Massimo is highly regarded by not only his boss but also his colleagues as "the shark". Episode 1 raises questions about loyalties when a prestigious promotion is passed on to someone else from the deserving person - Massimo.

Soon he finds himself digging for information - info that several people took a lot of effort to hide. He takes the help of Oliver Harris (Malachi Kirby), a modern-day informant who trades and/ or digs out details about other people's past. How he does that? By hacking into the bluetooth on their phones and stealing information. Oliver is one extremely smart kid whose eager energy is played very well by Kirby.

But there is something that viewers of the show cannot understand - "Who keeps their Bluetooth turned on on their phone?" one tweeted. The number of times that Oliver has managed to gather information for Massimo in Episode 1 itself is enough to confuse viewers as to why anyone would have the feature on the device for this long. At the same time, for many, it is a warning sign of how accounts are hacked into. "It's really for convenience of my speaker, but I'll look into it. I might keep it off if it really causes that," tweeted another viewer.

At the same time, many viewers are only glad to have Patrick Dempsey back on their screens. Dempsey plays Morgan on the show and so far we can only predict that he has a lot more to offer in this role. Either way, the actor brings his signature charm to the ruthless character. And fans simply love it. "My reaction to having patrick dempsey back on my tv be like #DevilsCW," a fan of the actor tweeted.

The show marks Dempsey's return to North American television five years following his departure from ABC's celebrated medical drama 'Grey's Anatomy'. This is enough for fans to go ga-ga. "Am I swooning over the fact that Patrick Dempsey is on my screen again?! WHY YES I AM #Devils," tweeted another fan.

Compliments continued pouring in for the actor's performance in the premiere episode. "@PatrickDempsey just finished watching @cw_devils and wow i’m speechless!! amazing!." Just like we wrote in our review of the episode, "Patrick Dempsey as Dominic breaks out of his cocoon in a new avatar that he plays with authority."
