Fans were highly disappointed when the first season of Channel 4‘s ‘Deadwater Fell’ concluded with a straight forward ending showing David Tennant as the prime suspect in the murdering of his wife Kate and their children. However, the series managed to grab our attention with its realistic approach towards socially and mentally related issues.

Although the previous episode saw the murder mystery unfold, the series calls for a second installment, owing to the fact that the rest of the characters were pivotal to the original plot and there’s much more to the tragedy that befell Kirkdarroch. As Channel 4 has announced the release of ‘Deadwater Fell’ Season 2, here's everything you need to know about the British drama.

Release Date

‘Deadwater Fell’ Season 2 will premiere on April 6 on Channel 4.

Plot

‘Deadwater Fell’ sees a Kendrick household, located in the remote Scottish village catch fire which claims the lives of the mother Kate and her three children. The second part of the series may follow the after-effects of the crime and give a better insight into the factors that could have led to Tom committing the heinous crime. The official synopsis for Season 2 of ‘Deadwater Fell’ is yet to be announced.
