‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Charlie and Claire hook up but who could be the sexy surprise in Philip's bedroom?

If the teasers are to be believed, Xander and Sarah will soon find a clue regarding Philip’s accomplice but will they find the man himself?

Since its premiere in 1965, ‘Days of Our Lives’ has been one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. In the next episode, Claire (Isabel Durant) can't seem to wrap her head around the betrayal by Jan Spears (Heather Lindell). As she's struggling with all the chaos, Charlie (Mike Manning) steps in to comfort her in the wake of the wedding fiasco of Belle Black (Martha Madison) and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer). He reassures her and they get closer to share a kiss. Sharing a sneak peek, the official handle of the NBC show posted: "In the latest #DAYS, Charlie comes by and announces he’s Claire’s date."

Fans have different thoughts on that preview. "And Allies baby Daddy I'm sure. Trips bro," one said and another posted, "That's what I think too, & I wouldn't be surprised if he turned out to be connected to Ava in some way either." A third wrote, "The new Claire has grown on me, she’s a decent actress. However, her interactions with Shawn are weird and uncomfortable. They have chemistry and not the father/daughter kind. They look more like a couple."

Xander (Paul Telfer) and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) are getting closer to cracking the case of Philip’s (Jay Kenneth Johnson) mystery partner-in-crime. If the teasers are to be believed, they will soon find a clue regarding Philip’s accomplice but will they find the man himself? And amid all that, Philip will find a surprise in his bedroom. Who could it be? In another preview, the official handle wrote, "In the latest #DAYS, Lani visits Kristen and apologizes for Eli’s actions."

Talking about what's going to happen, many fans dished out their thoughts and shared photos of the upcoming episode. "Today on @nbcdays, John attacks Jan, Charlie comforts a distraught Claire. And Philip finds a surprise in his bedroom," one viewer posted and another said, "Philip finds a surprise in his bedroom."

A third joined in, "I prefer Philip the lover over this greasy attempt at the villain. The man is going to end up hated and without real friends. At least Victor and even Stefano cared about someone while being treacherous." And a fourth tweeted, "Shawn hates Philip. John hates Xander. Brady hates both Philip & Xander. Man, Charlie can't catch a break."
