Daymond John labeled 'insecure' for choosing not to invest in BarBees Bartending on 'Shark Tank'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: BarBees Bartending recently appeared on Season 15 of 'Shark Tank' and signed a deal with Daniel Lubetzky. However, the business was also offered a deal by Daymond John, who quickly withdrew his offer, giving the entrepreneurs, Jessica Blakley and Willow Sprague, little time to respond.
On X, one viewer wrote to Daymond while tagging the 'Shark Tank' investor, "Hey, @TheSharkDaymond, not everyone is as petty and insecure as you are and needs to threaten to take their offer back when people take a few seconds to think and/or counter."

BarBees Bartending, which offers customized cocktail-making training, was one of the contenders on 'Shark Tank' Season 15 looking for $75K for 10%. BarBees' business concept is based on teachers going to their clientele.
If feasible, clients should host their teachers at their houses. If that is not practical, the firm provides virtual classes.
The pitch piqued the interest of both Daymond and Daniel, with both proposing to invest, only for Daymond to withdraw later. Daniel became the only Shark to eat a bite in the company, and he later took to X to express his joy.
Willow and Jess are great entrepreneurs. They nailed their pitch, were prepared with their numbers, and were super clear on how they'd use funds from a shark. Really impressive - their future is bright! #SharkTank @ABCSharkTank🥂 #BarBeesBartending pic.twitter.com/EmU10wBXRe

How can people sign up for BarBees Bartending classes?
BarBees began in Nashville, where Jessica and Willow lived at the time of its inception. By the end of 2022, after approximately a year of offering in-person cocktail courses, BarBees had spread to five locations throughout the United States, including New York City, Austin, Palm Springs, and Scottsdale.
Between then and the company's appearance on 'Shark Tank' Season 15, BarBees offered classes in five more locations. Customers in Atlanta, Savannah, Philadelphia, Tampa, and Washington, DC, may now conduct BarBees seminars in their own homes.
Virtual lessons are still available to clients who live outside those cities. A BarBees class works like this: consumers fill out an online application form and select two or three of the around ten drink options.
They must next acquire any alcoholic beverages required for the chosen cocktails. In-person lessons will include everything else needed, such as non-alcoholic cocktail components and bartending gear.
To adapt its programs to communities around the United States, BarBees hires and teaches instructors who are local to each area. The firm has an open application for potential instructors, so expanding into additional locations may be as simple as a competent individual in an underserved region applying for a position.

What is the cost of BarBees Bartending classes?
The company can handle bachelorette parties, birthdays, dates, and other types of group meetings. They also entertain corporate clients for team-building activities.
A 60-minute session costs $60–$80 per participant, and 90 minutes costs $70-$90. If your party has more than 20 individuals, the bartenders will give you group prices.

Who are the founders of BarBees Bartending?
These two closest friends invented a one-of-a-kind service to liven up your next party. The staff can celebrate with you while also teaching you how to make elegant cocktails at home or remotely.
Jessica and Willow met as undergraduates at Belmont University. Sprague studied international business, whereas Blakley studied economics and political science.
The ladies hit it off right away since they shared similar interests. For starters, they both sought a creative outlet outside of college.
Blakley and Sprague decided to attend bartending courses. There were plenty of bars in Nashville, but the team saw a market opportunity for a mobile bartending service.

'Shark Tank' Season 15 airs on Fridays on ABC at 8 pm ET.
For those who missed the episode, it will be available on demand the following day and on Hulu. Additionally, viewers can explore past seasons and episodes on Amazon Prime Video and iTunes.
