'Darcey and Stacey': Are Georgi and Darcey engaged? He thinks about taking the next step in their relationship
Darcey Silva is convinced she has found the one for him after meeting Georgi Rusev. The pair met on social media and after talking for a couple of months, they finally met in person. Soon, they decided to make things serious and started dating. However, the coronavirus outbreak quickly limited their chances of meeting once again.
Georgi and Darcey were quarantining separately until they decided it would be a nice idea to stay together. Georgi moved to stay with Darcey and ever since then they have been living together. Darcey admitted the lockdown helped the two to find out more about each other and get comfortable.
However, amid this, she found out shocking news. Darcey found out Georgi was still married. Georgi revealed he had separated a year ago and was in the process of getting a divorce. He revealed the lockdown had put a pause to the divorce hearing but assured Darcey that he was no longer with his ex.
Even though Darcey was shocked, she knew it was fair to give Georgi a chance as she finally found a man who loved and understood her. Keeping this in mind, she decided to invite her to meet her family. Darcey met her family to celebrate her mother and Florian Sukaj's birthday.
Darcey wanted Georgi to meet her family to see how welcoming they would be to him. At the same time, she wanted to see what her dad thought about him. Speaking to the camera, Darcey revealed she would not marry someone who her family did not accept. Luckily for her, everyone seemed to like Georgi.
Darcey's father, Mike Silva thought Georgi was a nice guy. However, he was not pleased to find out that he was married. In a one-on-one conversation with Georgi, Mike was quick to add that he would not want to see his daughter get hurt again. He told Georgi their relationship could only go on if he goes through the divorce process.
Georgi assured him that it would happen soon. In a preview for the next episode, it was revealed Georgi was planning on proposing. With a ring in his pocket, he seemed sure that Darcey was the one for him. However, the tension between them is not yet over. Will he go through the proposal? Only the next episode will tell.
