Skai Jackson is the youngest contestant on the show, but her energy is enough to set the stage on fire. When the Disney star showcased her first performance, the judges were shocked and knew she was someone who had the ability to go to the finale. Coming into week 2, Skai and her partner Alan Bersten did not hold back in bringing yet another great performance for this week's Disney theme.

Skai and Alan chose the song 'Miss Independent'. Skai thought the song was fit for her because she is an independent woman. Taking the same energy and confidence to the floor, Skai made sure that she delivered a good performance. Unfortunately, the pair had a small slip up. The judges were quick to notice it and did mention it in their comments. Derek Hough gave some motivation to Skai and informed her that setbacks are meant for people to come back stronger. He asked her to work on her routines and try to stay grounded. Bruno Tonioli also acknowledged that Skai messed up a little.

However, he trusted in her performance and asked her to be careful next time. Meanwhile, Carrie Ann Inaba thought the routine was great but wanted Skai to work on her hand movement. All the judges gave her a score of 5 which made her get 15 out of 30. While Skai had won the hearts of the judges with her first performance, it looks like week two wasn't great for her.

Her fans were quick to take it to social media and were vocal about how she deserved a higher score. At the same time, they were not pleased to see other contestants, who they thought did not perform as well as Skai but still got a higher score. "So Johnny Weir gets 18 for a mediocre, soulless performance... meanwhile Skai gets 15 because she isn’t tall enough? Thats rigga morris girl," read one comment.

"Go Skai! They were too harsh with the scoring. We will still vote for you anyway!" said another. "I’m about to fight all of those judges for playing in @skaijackson face with them weak 5s. Y’all text SKAI to 21523 and vote for her since they wanna play on #DWTS," wrote another.

"johnny and Skai are the beat dancers this season. why are they doing this to them?" another wondered. While fans had their anger, they were quick to vote for her. Will it be enough to save her this week?
