'Dancing With The Stars' Season 28: James Van Der Beek and Emma Slater's emotional contemporary routine has fans rooting for them
James Van Der Beek and Emma Slater finally won their much-deserved perfect score on Monday night increasing their chances to win this season's mirrorball trophy on 'Dancing With The Stars' Season 28.
The couple already leads the scoreboard with the highest scores this season, and their perfect score just adds to that. However, that surely didn't come easy for the couple who have been acing their performances since their debut on the ballroom stage.
Putting on their dancing shoes once again this week, the couple gave an emotional performance to a contemporary routine packed with lifts and moves that left us with our jaws wide open.
The judges couldn't help but rave about their performance. Just like every week, James was joined by his wife and two of his kids in the audience cheering him throughout.
His seven-year-old daughter Olivia was in tears after her father's performance. The judges gave the couple a perfect score of 10 each making it 30/30.
"I thought this was like a good book. There was something for everyone and it held your interest from start to finish," Len Goodman shared post their performance.
Carrie Ann called their performance "artistry in motion." Taking to Twitter after the episode, fans couldn't help but rave about the 'Dawson's Creek' actor's performance on Monday night.
"I have no idea how I have ended up here, but I am crying watching a performance by James Van Der Beek on #DancingWiththeStars. Should I be calling for help? #DWTS," wrote a fan.
Another said, "Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful dance by James Van Der Beek. #DWTS." Fans also felt he has what it takes to win this season.
