'Dancing with the Stars’ Finale: Kaitlyn Bristowe becomes 2nd Bachelorette to win Mirrorball Trophy after Hannah Brown
'Dancing with the Stars' Season 29 crowned a new winner in the November 23 episode as four finalists compete against one another for the Mirrorball trophy. Leading the rank chart was Kaitlyn Bristowe and Artem with two full scores, along with Nev Schulman. While fans of the show continued to place bets on their favorite couple owing to the tough competition, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Artem were declared the winner of Season 29.
'The Bachelorette' star put up a great performance in the second and last round of Season 29 of 'Dancing with the Stars' by dancing to freestyle. Similar to the previous round, judges were impressed with their second dance and gave them a full score. The reality star was leading with the judges' scores and the viewers had noted on social media that they were extending their support to Kaitlyn through their votes.
As it seemed like more and more people voting for Kaitlyn, fans began predicting if she would in fact be crowned the winner of Season 29. Thus by winning the title, Kaitlyn became the second Bachelorette to take home the trophy after Hannah Brown, in Season 28, only a year ago.
Fans of Bachelor Nation also rooted for Kaitlyn and many established that Kaitlyn "deserves" to win it. She is also believed to be the only amateur dancer who is well-versed with its technicalities. Prior to her second performance, Kaitlyn told that her journey on Dancing with the Stars has been a life-changing experience. She reflected on the times when she nailed her first ever performance on the stage and also recounted when she failed to leave mark with a few performances.
