'Dancing With The Stars' Season 28: Fans claim Hannah Brown and Alan's choice of country song for the samba was a 'horrible' one

Though Hannah did bring her grace and swinging hips to the stage, the song didn't complement their performance, which got fans disappointed.

'Dancing With The Stars' season 28 might be halfway into the season, and while they expect the contestants to have improved with their performances, fans claim the show doesn't do the same justice when it comes to song selection.

This week the former Bachelorette Hannah Brown was homesick, so she brought in her parents from Alabama, and decided to a Samba routine to Carrie Underwood's song "Southbound"

Though she did bring her grace and swinging hips to the stage, the song didn't complement their performance, which got fans disappointed. The mismatched combination didn't sit well with everyone and that includes the judges too. Though the couple tried to make it look great especially with Alan dancing half of the song with his bare chest visible, it was like one trying to eat soup with a fork. It just didn't go well.

Post their performance, Burno said,  “It’s hard to combine that country flavor to the samba motion." Taking to Twitter, fans also reveal their disappointment with the song choice.

"Dancing samba to a country song is like dancing the Viennese waltz to punk rock," wrote a fan. Adding to that another said, "Hannah gets screwed over every week w/rotten music. The Samba is a Latin dance. Give her something she can move her hips to, like the music given to the Beek. Producers can cheat by bastardizing a couple's chances."

"YOU GUYS NEED TO KNOW HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SONGS," shared another fan. While another added, "That song was horrible No more country music PLEASE !  #TeamAlanbamaHannah."

"Hannah is so talented. The song and the dance steps didn't seem to go together well tonight. They did great though. Come back strong next week, @hannahbrown
! #dwts," wrote a fan.

"I think after 2 country sambas in a row, we’re ready to give Alan an actual samba song. The song choices this season are ruining the show as much as Sean’s casting.," wrote another fan.

'Dancing With The Stars' season 28 airs every Monday night only on ABC. Check your local listings for more information.
