Chrishell Stause has never been afraid to be vulnerable in front of the cameras, and the latest episode (October 19) was no different. The reality star has always tried to bring her personal experience and emotions into the dance and this time, she channeled the loss of her parents with her performance.

Chrishell revealed last year had been hard for her as she lost her father in a battle with lung cancer. Chrishell revealed her mother had been taking care of him all the time. However, the biggest shock came to the family when Chrishell found out her mother also had lung cancer. 'Selling Sunset' star revealed that they found out about her mother's lung cancer after a long time.

Her diagnosis came in February 2020 and she passed away a couple of months after that. Chrishell admitted she wanted to dedicate the performance to her late parents. Once the music started playing, Chrishell could not control her emotions. She became teary-eyed while she was performing.

Despite this, she made sure every step she made was done right. As the performance came to an end, judges were quick to applaud her. Derek Hough admitted it was a wonderful performance and praised her for showing strength through everything she has been through.

Bruno Tonioli was also impressed with her performance. He asked her to pay attention to some of her moves. Meanwhile, Carrie Ann Inaba admitted that it was a powerful performance, but asked Chrishell to pay attention to her footwork. The judges gave her an overall 8 which made her total score 24 out of 30.

After the performance, Chrishell thanked the network for giving her the opportunity to come on the stage and dance. She also thanked her dance partner, Gleb Savchenko for standing by her. Fans were quick to comment on her performance and admitted it left them emotional. "Chrishell brought me to tears @Chrishell7 losing a parent is some of the worst pain I’ve ever felt and I could feel your pain and love in your dance. So well done," read one comment. "These judges are talking about Chrishell's feet and I am wiping tears away. Sorry feet aren't everything. Lol," said another.

"My heart aches for @Chrishell7 losing both parents to lung cancer. After my dad being diagnosed with lung cancer in Aug of 2019 and losing him in March. I know how absolutely hard pushing through that dance must've been. And it was beautiful. I commend you, Chrishell." Another added, "Damn! Chrishell lost both her parents in one year's time. I hope she didn't get THAT news via text. So sorry for your loss. #DWTS Nice scores! 8's across the board."
