'Dancing With the Stars': Carole Baskin eliminated, fans 'feel bad' as she exits after 'Circle of Life' act

The cat lady of 'Dancing With the Stars' has taken her final bow in the ballroom. Carole Baskin was eliminated at the end of Week 3 of the show on Monday, September 28, evening. Her samba performance didn't have any takers — none on the judges' panel and certainly not among the audience. She was scored a measly 12 out of 30, the lowest scores of the evening, and standing in the bottom with her was Anne Heche with her partner Keo Motsepe.

Carole managed to escape elimination last week after her Vietnamese waltz on 'What's Up Pussycat' managed to impress judges more than Charles Oakley's cha-cha, making him the first celebrity to be eliminated from the show. However, she and her partner Pasha Pashkov's samba to 'Circle of Life' on the recent episode with all that crouching hand gestures and that extremely wide grin on their faces couldn't save them from elimination.

Guaranteeing Derek and Bruno's vote of support during the elimination, Anne made it to the safe side by the skin of her teeth and Carole took her final bow in the ballroom. When she did that, it seemed like all the hate that she's been receiving since the time 'Tiger King' released on Netflix suddenly started to fade away, even though not prominently, but there has been a shift in the way people view her.

There were a number of comments on Twitter by audiences that said that they're happy to watch her leave, but there are also a significant number of people who are saddened by her exit. Here are a few reactions. "Ngl I kinda feel bad for Carole Baskin... #DWTS," wrote a fan. You two were AMAZING!! Your #DWTS journey may be over but you’ll forever be part of the @DancingABC family after all this elimination is just another step in the Circle of Life," wrote another praising Carole.

"You had my vote @carole_baskin but I guess it wasn’t enough. You did amazing sweetie and hope you realize that. #DWTS," read another fan tweet. "Upset that Carole Baskin is gone, I was excited for her to do the Argentine tango to the tiger song from the hangover #DWTS," wrote another.
