'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' Season 5 Episode 4 Preview: It's Prom Night all over again

There's a psycho killer on the loose and the Legends need to unmask the killer's identity before it's too late

The latest soul released from hell returns to 1989, and the Prom Night slasher lives again. It's time for the Legends to don their best tuxes, pin their corsages, rent that limo and head back to the prom.

Last episode, Zari Tomaz (Tara Ashe) was brought back onto the Waverider after Nate Heywood (Nick Zano) began to remember the timeline in which she was one of the Legends.

Zari might have forgotten, but Nate knows what she did last summer — and with her back on the Waverider, her memories may begin returning to her.

The Legends, meanwhile, have to go back to 1989 and step right into a classic slasher film — complete with a mask-wearing, knife-wielding serial killer supernaturally empowered by Hell itself. With the Legends' powerset, defeating the killer shouldn't be a problem - but can they uncover his identity before it's too late?

Back in the present, though, Charlie (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) has apparently been crashing at John Constantine's (Matt Ryan) pad, and Constantine is none too pleased. The fans might be, however, if this episode brings Maisie Richardson-Sellers back to the show.

The CW has released a promo for the episode, which you can watch below:

Episode 2 followed a documentary format, while the last episode dove into film noir, and this episode, it seems like the Legends will be following its own take on a classic teen slasher horror flick.

They already have everything they need — spooky villains, a wisecracking and a youthful cast of characters — but with the Legends, there are likely to be far fewer damsels in distress.

With the return of two fan-favorite characters to the show, and the Legends dressed their best for prom night, this episode of 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' looks to be one of the most fun ones yet.

'Slay Anything' — Episode 4 of Season 5 of 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' — airs on February 11 on The CW.
