'Counting On': Jinger and Jeremy surprise the family with pregnancy news using a gingerbread house
The Duggar family is growing. Jinger and Jeremy Duggar announced that they are expecting their second child in the latest episode (August 11). The Duggar family was coming together for a family night and being miles away, Jeremy and Jinger decided to join the family via video call.
During game night, the family had decided to build a gingerbread house. The team that did the best job would be crowned the winner. Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar decided to be the moderators for the night, while the others divided themselves into teams. Jinger was excited to break the news to the family and the pair thought the occasion would be perfect for it.
The pair had the idea of having a small gingerbread made and placed it in a position that would help the family know that they are expecting a child. Once they had this idea in place, they wasted no time in getting everything set for the game night. One thing that Jinger enjoyed about this competition was that it allowed her to spend time with her daughter, Felicity. Felicity and Jinger decided to play around a bit as they tried to ensure that the best gingerbread house was from their team. While Jinger and Jeremy were excited to celebrate with the family, others were more focused on winning the competition.
With one hour in their hand, everyone had been rushing to make sure their gingerbread house was complete. While Jinger and Jeremy were excited for the family to find out, they had a hard time placing all the gingerbread together. Fortunately, they finally found a way for all of them to be placed correctly and in a place where one could spot it easily.
As everyone showed off their gingerbread house, it was finally time for Jinger and Jeremy to reveal their creation. They showed off their work but the family found it hard to spot the pregnancy news in the gingerbread they had made. Jeremy decided to move the camera closer to the gingerbread house and after waiting for some time, Michelle finally spotted the pregnant gingerbread.
The family congratulated the couple and were looking forward to the Duggar family growing.
