The END GAME of Thor? Chris Hemsworth hints at original 'Avengers' member's DEATH
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Dear Marvel readers, as we know in real life all good things come to an end, however, in reel life as well there are some of the most iconic characters whose life rather the screen presence ended for a better reason. Although some may disagree but we have all witnessed how in the big events of MCU, like 'Avengers: Infinity War' and 'Avengers: Endgame', how the creators killed some of the major characters of the OG 'Avengers' team starting from 'Ironman' to Scarlett Johannson's Natasha Romanoff or 'Black widow.'
Chris Hemsworth's 'Thor' has been iconic and one of the major characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, undoubtedly. The Thunder God of Asgard character has killed the apparent 'inevitable' being, Thanos, twice and is considered one of the strongest roles in the franchise. However, all good things come to an end, and eventually so is this. The longtime MCU staple and 'Thor: Love and Thunder' star revealed that after four standalone films and over 10 years as the God of Thunder, it may be time to bid farewell to the role. Could he potentially die in the upcoming movie 'Avengers: The Kang Dynasty' of the next MCU phase? Well, nothing is yet confirmed.

During a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Hemsworth opened up about his last ride with MCU as one of the greatest superheroes. “I feel like we’d probably have to close the book if I ever did it again, you know what I mean? I feel like it probably warrants that,” Hemsworth told the outlet, adding, “I feel like it’d probably be the finale, but that’s not based on anything anyone’s told me or any sort of plans.” He added, “You have this birth of a hero, the journey of a hero, then the death of a hero, and I don’t know - am I at that stage? Who knows?”
Hemsworth noted that he is “completely open” to another 'Thor' film if “there is something unique and fresh and unexpected to do with the character and the world,” much like Taika Waititi’s installments. “I’ve always loved the experience. I’ve been very thankful I’ve been able to do something different each time,” he concluded.
It seems as though just like former Marvel actors Robert Downey Jr and Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth's time as 'Thor' has to come to an end at some point and the actor is prepared for it. Hemsworth recently starred in 'Thor: Love and Thunder'. The film received a mixed critical response, with praise for its light-hearted nature and the performances of Bale and Portman, while criticism was aimed at the screenplay and tonal inconsistency, although many critics deemed the film inferior to 'Ragnarok'. On the other hand, 'Love and Thunder' grossed over 760 million dollars worldwide, making it the sixth-highest-grossing film of 2022.
