One could agree that 'The Bachelor', 'The Bachelorette', or 'Bachelor in Paradise' would be the same without host Chris Harrison. Nearly all the contestants to have appeared one one of these reality TV shows think highly of the franchise host.

Chris has been the face and host of the long-running series since 2002 when it first premiered. Over the years, many of the contestants have grown close to the host, and post pictures with him on their social media. With the new season of 'The Bachelor' -- with Peter Weber as the bachelor -- set to air on our screens shortly, here are a few reasons why we think Chris Harrison is the best host that reality TV could get.

The famed reality TV series has a whole lot of drama cooking and which hasn't gone unnoticed. While even fans and viewers get fazed by all the drama, Chris is always remains unfazed and knows what to do at the right time.

No matter what happens, the contestants can count on him, and we have seen that to be true over the past many seasons. For instance, during the previous season of 'Bachelor in Paradise' when Demi Burnett was confused, Chris brought in Kristen Haggerty who hadn't appeared on the franchise anytime before.

Chris also knows how to build up the drama, keeping fans and viewers hooked to their screens waiting to know what happens next. We can take Colton Underwood's season of 'The Bachelor' as an example. The drama and teases that Chris had built up toward the fence jump over the weeks, had fans and viewers waiting every week just to see when that jump would happen.

He is also the living example of a boss. Chris knows how to run this series, and at the same time, he is also there for the contestants when they need it. And most of all his sense of humor and dad jokes are what make him the best host amongst reality TV series.

'The Bachelor' season 24 will premiere only on ABC. Check your local listings for more information.
