Jack Coleman who plays 'Disco Bob' is returning to Chicago PD season 6
Jack Coleman, who plays Bob Ruzek, the father of Adam Ruzek, will make an appearance in the upcoming season after his debut in 2015 in season 2.
Actor Jack Coleman who plays 'Disco Bob' or Bob Ruzek will be back for 'Chicago PD' season 6. Jack's character will reportedly make his debut in this season in the fifth episode of the season. The episode is set to air on October 24 on NBC and is directed by Eriq La Salle. Jack, who was first seen in season 2 in the twelfth episode made quite the impression.
The episode titled 'Disco Bob' introduced us to the character after he becomes the first to arrive on the scene of a double murder. He is a sergeant on the show and the father of Adam Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger). Adam is a series regular and is a Chicago Police undercover patrol officer and a member of the Intelligence Unit in Chicago PD.
In the upcoming season 6 episode, the team will be working on a super complex case and Adam will find his worst fears coming true when they stumble upon the fact that his dad is somehow in the middle of the whole situation. This makes things tough for him. It remains to be seen how they deal with the matter because the tensions have been high between them ever since they met each other on 'Disco Bob'.
Actor and screenwriter, Coleman is known for playing the role of Steven Carrington in the 1980s prime-time soap opera 'Dynasty' and for portraying the role of Noah Bennet in the science-fiction drama series Heroes. He was also seen as the recurring but important character of Senator Robert Lipton on 'The Office'. He was also widely acclaimed as antagonist State Senator William Bracken on the hit crime drama 'Castle.'
The crime drama television series is created by Dick Wolf and Matt Olmstead as the first spin-off from 'Chicago Fire' and is the second installment of Dick Wolf’s 'Chicago' franchise. The series premiered on NBC as a mid-season replacement on January 8, 2014. The show follows the uniformed patrol officers and the Intelligence Unit of the 21st District of the Chicago Police Department as they pursue the perpetrators of the city's major street offenses.
The show also stars Jason Beghe, Jon Seda, Sophia Bush, Jesse Lee Soffer, Marina Squerciati, LaRoyce Hawkins, Archie Kao, Elias Koteas, Amy Morton, Brian Geraghty, and Tracy Spiridakos. 'Chicago PD' returns Wednesday, September 26 at 10/9, alongside NBC's other Chicago dramas – 'Chicago Med' at 8/7c and 'Chicago Fire' at 9/8c.
