Season 9 of ‘Chicago Fire’ has been one of the most well-balanced shows in recent times and it is inching toward its conclusion. The show has continued to surprise the fans with well-written stories week after week and captivate their minds with rip-roaring sequences.

However, the makers have a responsibility now to end the season on a high and connect all the loose ends before the finale airs in May. The previous episode made the fans really happy with how Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer) and Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) embraced each other after it was found his headaches are more likely from a concussion.

‘Chicago Fire’ Season 9 Episode 12 Recap

The episode sees Casey and Brett visiting a doctor. Casey gets himself checked while Brett waits outside for him to come out. Casey comes out of the room and tells Brett that he has to get an MRI. He is having mini seizures and they could turn into full-blown seizures. Brett tries to calm him and tells him not to panic before they have all the information.

Casey tells about his medical condition to Chief Wallace Boden (Eamonn Walker). Boden is really worried about Casey’s health and tells him to take some rest. As soon as it is announced that Casey will be taking some time off, the alarm goes off and everyone leaves. The entire team reaches the scene and saves everyone from the raging fire. However, a woman is screaming for her daughter. Randall 'Mouch' McHolland (Christian Stolte) finds the little girl and comes out with her in his arms as the blast goes off. Everyone congratulates him on the heroic save and he gets a pat on his back.
