After 'Survivor' and 'Big Brother', CBS is back with another eagerly anticipated show called 'The Challenge: USA'. CBS on Wednesday unveiled the full cast for The Challenge: USA, the latest offshoot of the long-running MTV competition series, and it includes 'Survivor' champs Tyson Apostol, Ben Driebergen and Sarah Lacina, 'Big Brother 23' winner Xavier Prather, 'The Amazing Race 32' winner James Wallington and 'Love Island 2' winner Justine Ndiba.

In each episode, pairs of contestants will square off to earn money for their accounts by winning challenges or eliminating their opponents. The tasks are not going to seem as easy as it sounds, although they will be worth the effort that the contestants put in.

Who is Tyson Apostol?

The American Reality TV star was born in Provo, Utah. Apostol cycled professionally in Switzerland, Belgium, and Austria, including for Team Volksbank between 2005 and 2007. On the 18th season of 'Survivor', Apostol was placed on the Timbira tribe, initially sticking with the majority alliance and forming a particularly close bond with Benjamin "Coach" Wade. Jeff Probst, a co-contestant stated that Apostol was one of his favorites of the season because he was maniacal and unpredictable.

Apostol accepted an offer to participate again, in the show's 20th season, where he was assigned to the Villains tribe. His tribe dominated the initial immunity challenges. Apostol returned for Survivor's 27th season, Blood vs. Water. This time, he and his longtime girlfriend, Rachel Foulger, both cast as contestants. He was assigned to the Galang tribe while she went to Tadhana. Tyson's method of playing the game was praised, and he was voted the $1 million winner, receiving seven of the eight jury votes.

Will we get to see Tyson in the upcoming 'Survivor' games?

Fans are excited to finally get a glimpse of the 'Survivor' star Tyson Apostol in the upcoming show called 'The Challenge'. But what does this mean about his appearance in the 'Survival' game series. It could be bad news for the long-time fans of Apostol as the star isn’t interested in returning to the show.

Heavy’s Stephen McCaugherty spoke with Tyson ahead of his appearance on the show, and they chatted about several things, including whether or not he wants to play “Survivor” for the fifth time. During the interview, when it was suggested that having the opportunity to win again and take home another grand prize could be a good reason to go back, Tyson answered: “I might make more money not going.”

'The Challenge' star, a husband, and father of two does not see any point in returning back to the show as he says he's moved on from it. The first time reality TV fans saw Tyson on their television screens was in 2009 when he competed in “Survivor: Tocantins.” Fast forward nearly 15 years Tyson is in a much different place in his life now. He spoke about how he needs to be there for his family at this point in his life to watch his kids grow.

Well, with that being said fans can still get a glimpse of him in the upcoming show 'The Challenge' premiering exclusively on CBS this 6th of July.
