Gearheads have something to look forward to while being on the coronavirus lockdown. Netflix is all set to roll out the second season of 'Car Masters: Rust to Riches'.
The eight-episode pilot season debuted in 2018 to positive acclaim and followed Mark Towle, the founder of Gotham Garage, as he and his crew take in classics and give them a major modern overhaul thereby increasing their value. Ahead of Season 2's release this March, here's what we know about the riveting reality show:
Release date
'Car Masters: Rust to Riches' Season 2 premieres on March 27, 2020, on Netflix.
Plot
As the name suggests, the show is all about giving worn-out classics a complete makeover. Season 1 saw the Gotham Garage crew revamp a '64 Ford Thunderbird into a Rocket Car in one of the episodes while a '70 Chevy C-10 Fleetside is all jacked up and traded for '39 Zephyr.
Season 2 sees the crew get a second garage where they go about their business of overhauling vintage cars into modern mean machines. This time, the numbers for trade are well over six figures.

Mark Towle
Mark Towle is the owner of Gotham Garage. Constance Nunes, Shawn Pilot, Michael Caveman Pyle and Tony Quinones are all set to return for Season 2.
Writer/Director
While there are no details yet on any change in EPs. Will Ehbrecht, Rob Hammersley, Mark Kadin, John Stokel, Michael Lutz, and Scott Popjes served as EP's for Season 1. We'll update more on this as we get the details.
